About
Sachin has spent seven years teaching disaster preparedness, response and recovery. He designs training for government departments, NGOs and corporate teams at the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab.
Alongside that he works in search and rescue in the mountains, running high-altitude rescues, crevasse and avalanche work with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports in Manali and the Himachal Pradesh government.
That combination is unusual, and it is the reason Namaste Earth teaches rather than simply guides. The weather reading, the pacing and the conditioning are the same material he delivers to emergency responders, adapted for people on a trail.
